It looks a little different from Dark souls 1 and 2, though. Originally posted by Slimebeast:Yeah you can easily see it's the same engine in all games they made starting with Demon's Souls.

I prefer the PC gaming.Īnd so I say as mentioned, any advice on if I should play through Dark Souls 1. I would play on them if I had to, and for some casual moments or times, or if a game only came on the console such as Bloodborne, but other than that. I used to enjoy console gaming in my teen years, I don't anymore and that's been almost 2 decades ago, though. but I don't hack and prefer the PC gaming for what I enjoy. I know they did it to avoid piracy and stuff before and still kinda do with different game companies and games. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not all about graphics, there's "possibly" just as good of animations, or depth to the characters/monsters in Dark Souls 3 as there would be in Bloodborne, but it would seem they just wash down the engine on PC versions of games, I get so tired of that, when a computer can be well beyond the hardware specs of a PS4, and the better games end up on the consoles. I've seen some monsters with lots of animations, but not quite as often or as many as those on Bloodborne, do they feel that no one is going to have a good PC with hardware specs or a nice GPU? I'm not sure why but I actually look forward to those fluid animations if they are at the level of impressive as Bloodborne is with what it has for graphical animations on everything in the game. Though in some differences, it would seem as usual, the console wins in some animations on enemies or player costumes, the animation of hair and stuff seems to be over used in Bloodborne on the PS4, where as Dark Souls 3 doesn't seem to have monsters at quite that level. It would seem that Dark Souls 3 takes a lot of the Bloodborne engine, the way the enemies act. Dark Souls 3 seems a little different than the other 2 Dark Souls, when I view them on youtube, and the Dark Souls 3 trailers/gameplay. maybe just watch it on youtube and buy Dark Souls 3 for later to play?ītw.

I haven't played the Dark Souls series yet, should I start with Dark Souls 1.

There was some other info that lead me to it. This I couldn’t stand for more than five minutes.Originally posted by Wisebl00d:I've posted about this a couple of times. My second playthrough of Bloodborne was 90% on Vita. Or at least switched the upper and lower touchscree corners. Seems like they didn’t.Īnd I just cannot figure out why they didn’t stick with the Bloodborne Setup. Now, using the upper touchscreen corners for ANYthing is bad enough, but deliberately putting the more used actions on there (Skill/Parry and Heavy Attack as opposed to Center Camera/Lock-on and… nothing?) really adds insult to injury.Īpparently it was the same awful setup for DSII, but after Bloodborne I was sure they had learned something there. The back touchpad – which worked great in Bloodborne for the camere recenter and lock-on – is not used at all. And the nice and easy to reach lower corners are mappes with 元 and R3.

L2 and R2 are on the inconventient to impossible to reach upper touchscreen corners (screen, not pad). Fair Warning to all Vita Remote Play Hopefuls:Īfter the pretty great Remote Play Control Scheme from Bloodborn they actually managed to mess this one up.
